Against the backdrop of global advocacy for green and low-carbon development, our factory of Obaili has leveraged our forward-looking strategic vision to fully utilize the idle rooftop resources of our two self-owned factory buildings, approximately 3,600 square meters in total, to successfully construct a 602.77KW distributed photovoltaic (PV) power station. With an annual power generation of about 693,000 kWh, this PV power station not only injects green momentum into the enterprise's own development but also brings new advantages to the production and promotion of our bag products.
Our factory is specializing in producing various bags, including insulated bags, backpacks, outdoor sports bags, handbags, briefcases, laptop bags, and other popular categories. In the past, unstable power supply was a major challenge affecting the progress of bag production. Power outages and production stoppages not only disrupted production plans but also might lead to delayed delivery of goods, affecting the customer experience. Now, with the completion of the PV power station, photovoltaic power generation serves as an important supplement to the factory's electricity consumption, effectively avoiding production interruptions caused by uncontrollable power factors. Even during periods of tight grid power supply, we can still ensure the stable operation of production lines, ensuring that every batch of orders is delivered on schedule and providing customers with more reliable supply guarantees.
With the support of the PV power station, Obaili's bag production has achieved multi-energy integration and complementarity. During the day, the clean electricity generated by the PV power station is directly used for production equipment operation, lighting, and other links; excess electricity is fed into the grid for resource reuse. This green production model not only reduces the enterprise's dependence on traditional energy but also significantly cuts production costs. According to preliminary estimates, after the PV power station is put into use, we can save hundreds of thousands of yuan in electricity expenses every year, enabling it to provide high-quality bag products to customers at more competitive prices.
From an environmental perspective, the implementation of Obaili's PV project is a powerful testament to the enterprise's active practice of energy conservation and emission reduction concepts. Compared with traditional thermal power, this PV power station can reduce a large amount of carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and other pollutant emissions every year, contributing to the improvement of the ecological environment. This green initiative is also highly consistent with the design philosophy of Obaili's bag products.
